Getting started
A fresh start.
A familiar working day.
Start with the essentials. Add the extras when they’re useful to you.
Set up your week.
The welcome guide introduces MyDrop and lets you choose the day your working week begins. You don’t need an account.
Pay estimates are optional. Leave the rate blank if you don’t need them; you can add it later in Settings. You can reopen the welcome guide from Settings.
Add your first route.
Once you’re safely parked, choose Add Record. Select the route date and your rostered Shift Pattern, then enter the details you want to keep: drops, miles, weight, actual route time and notes.
Your shift pattern is the planned start. Route time is how long you actually spent on the route. A shorter route doesn’t automatically mean fewer paid hours.
Avoid putting customer names, addresses or other people’s personal information in route notes.
Give the picture time to build.
Comparisons need at least three complete earlier routes. Until then, it’s normal to see a message asking for more records.
Explore your week, rolling time periods, weekday averages and shift patterns. Today’s Outlook uses earlier records from the same weekday, so it needs at least three of those. It describes your history, not a promise about today’s assigned route.
Bring in your working week.
In Work Calendar, use shift templates to plan ahead. Apple Calendar access is optional; allow it if you want MyDrop to read and manage supported work events.
Use Work Calendar → Pay Setup for rates and breaks. Pay is an estimate before tax and deductions. The app identifies when a matching Calendar shift supplies the hours; otherwise it uses the saved paid-hours estimate.
Keep a copy beyond your phone.
Open Settings → Save a Backup Copy, then use the share sheet to save the file in iCloud Drive or another suitable location. Keep a recent copy before changing phones or deleting the app.
The backup includes routes, pay settings, week preferences and shift templates. Apple Calendar events remain in Calendar and aren’t part of this backup.
